Zoom-a-thon Sponsor: LiveFit
LiveFit is a proud Zoom-a-thon sponsor. Located on Caldwell Mill Road near Hwy 119, they offer personal training and 24 hr a day equipment access. Z learned the hard way that while you can bring your workout clothes and a winning attitude with you, LiveFit trainers ask that you leave your Cheese Puffs at home.

Z's New Look
Took Z a little while to get ready for the Pep Rally, but it was totally worth it when we finally got to see Z's new outfit.
And...We're OFF!
Today we kicked off the Zoom-a-thon pledge collecting season with a music-driven, ball-bouncing, silliness-gone-wild pep rally at OMIS. We finally got to see Z's new look, learned about all the great prizes to be won, and witnessed an epic battle of scooter skills. Now it's time for you to do your part.
You have two weeks to raise as many pledges as you can. Friends, family, and perfect strangers can donate a flat amount or pledge an amount for each lap run during the Zoom-a-thon Run on September 29th. Prizes will be awarded based on the money raised and collected during and after the Zoom-a-thon. Best of all, every penny we raise during the Zoom-a-thon stays right here at Oak Mtn. Intermediate School. There are no middle men to take a cut of the pledges.
Parents, you can do your part by helping your student(s) talk to friends and family. Kids, get those pledges and then come have a great time running in the Zoom-a-thon!

Zoom-a-thon T-shirt for 2011
What do you think of this year's Zoom-a-thon t-shirt? It's Kid Tested, Z Approved. It's a heather grey shirt with navy writing. The back will feature the running Z footprints area for marking laps, as well as the corporate logos of all the businesses who have leant a hand in making our big fundraiser happen.
Be sure to take the time to thank our sponsors if you get the chance, and please consider giving them your business. And don't forget to tell them Z sent you.
Zoom-a-thon Pep Rally - NEXT WEEK!!
Can you feel the excitement building? Our Third Annual Zoom-a-thon Pep Rally is Thursday, September 15th at 1:30pm at OMIS. There will be bouncing balls, loud music, silly jokes, adults acting like children, competitions, prize announcements, Z's new costume, and DANCING NINJA MONKEYS! Okay, maybe not dancing ninja monkeys, but that would have been SO cool, don't you think?
Stay tuned to this site for all the latest Zoom-a-thon information. We'll be posting prize lists, silly videos, and more. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell random strangers on the street. It's all for a good cause. Hope to see you there.
